S5B Pro Gimbal

A higher-end gimbal built for creators who want advanced tracking and genuine all-day battery life, without needing to keep a companion app open to use it.

What makes it different?

Most smart gimbals require a paired app running on your phone to unlock their tracking and advanced features — the S5B Pro doesn’t. It operates without an app, meaning its AI 360° tracking, portrait/landscape switching, and other core functions work directly from the gimbal itself. That’s paired with a display panel that shows your current settings and status clearly, so you’re not guessing what mode you’re in. Battery life is a genuine standout here too — long battery endurance means fewer mid-shoot recharges, and a built-in power bank function lets the gimbal actually charge your phone in return, useful on long shoot days away from an outlet. An ultra wide angle lens option widens your framing for group shots or tighter spaces, and it’s compatible with most standard accessories for building out a fuller kit.

What’s it good for?

• Longer shoots where charging isn’t convenient — the power bank function doubles as backup phone charging

• Creators who don’t want to depend on a phone app running correctly to use core features

• Wide group shots or tight spaces where the ultra wide angle helps

• Anyone wanting AI tracking across a full 360°, not just left-right panning

Should I buy it?

If reliability and battery life matter more to you than saving on price, the S5B Pro’s app-free operation and power bank function solve two real annoyances other gimbals have. It’s priced above the CM8 and TOKQI models, but the extras — especially not depending on an app, and being able to charge your phone from it — justify that gap if you shoot for long stretches away from power.
